Proposal Guidelines
Please note that unsolicited proposals are not being considered at this time.
All cover letters should summarize the grant request, be no more than one page and include need, objective(s), how the project fits the ESMFF focus and amount of money requested. Proposal (maximum five pages in length) could include the following;
- One short paragraph giving a summary of the project or program.
- A detailed description of program, include the following:
- Need/opportunity being addressed by this project (significance or uniqueness of the project in relation to other work being done in this field in, your community;
- Program objectives, strategies, proposed outcomes, timetable;
- How will you evaluate the success of the program?
- A description of what you perceive are the biggest
challenges and how you propose to address them. - Qualifications of personnel and capability of organization to carry out project.
- Describe coordination efforts with other organizations in area performing similar work or serving same population.
- Attachments
- A budget for program or organization under request and other sources of projected and/or known income
- Last audited financial statement or annual report (if available)
- IRS determination letter
- List of directors and officers of organization
All funded organizations are required to submit a final grant report in the format provided with the award letter. ≠Applications may be submitted at any time during the year. The Foundation directors meet biannually to review proposals. Proposals and reports are to be submitted to the ESMFF Director who oversees the grant.
